Pelindaba Lavender Farm

I have some friends visiting, so today we toured the island in the rain. Our adventures included a stop at Pelindaba Lavender Farm, where I snapped these photos.....

No bees on your lavender? There is a hedge of it just round the corner from Base Camp that is full of bees even first thing in the morning, ones which didn't make it back home the previous night - 'dirty stop-outs!'
Glad your still showing us soem serious orca action, and nice to read you have one named after Mrs McG

Cheers

Dave - A lot of the bees were hunkered down somewhere out of the rain, I think, but there were bumble bees about for sure. I tried to get a photo of one but it turned out blurry - drats!
